Join us as we celebrate our 10th annual SEED Summer program. (AUG 16-25th)
Traveling Jewish Educators Making Tour Stop in CharlotteProject SEED returns to the Charlotte Torah Center from August 16- 25th.
Project SEED, a subsidiary of Torah Umesorah, is an international program in which young men and women are sent to Jewish communities throughout the world to provide quality learning and create Jewish enrichment opportunities for the communities that they visit.
For 12 days the Charlotte Torah Center is offering the opportunity to expand your Jewish horizons and learn anything Jewish you would like. A group of young yeshiva students will be joining us for almost two weeks. Their objective is to make Jewish education available to the Jews of Charlotte. They’re part of a nationwide program of students offering this opportunity throughout America.Come learn something new about your heritage and have a great time enjoying the camaraderie of other intellectually open-minded people. There’s nothing to lose and a lot of Jewish pride to gain. Give yourself the gift of knowledge.”It’s like a summer camp for adults!” “Having SEED here is about the closest thing you can get to going to Israel and studying in a yeshiva,” said a participant in previous SEED events. “Their energy, life and excitement about learning, it just rubs off on all the participants.”Events are planned for every night of the week during which the SEED crew is at the CTC.. Festive Shabbat dinners, lunches and third meal, as well as other events are being planned. All the events will have engaging Torah-learning opportunities, as well as the enjoyment of meeting new people. This year’s SEED group consists of five talented, advanced yeshiva students.Stay tuned for details of morning, afternoon and evening services as well as nightly one on one study sessions for tweens, teens and adults.
