Fun and lively Shabbat dinner at the Oppenheim home at 6 p.m. with great food, bonding and exciting conversation as we explore the topic of ‘Where do we go from here? The Israel – Arab conflict, ISIS and Beyond” with Rabbi Packer.
The joy of Shabbat continues on Saturday at the CTC for a 10:30 a.m. morning service followed by a luncheon. Topic of discussion lecture is Antisemitism in the modern world. Is it on the rise? How does it define itself? We will also share thoughts and ideas about the Torah portion and enjoy Shabbat songs together.
Do not miss hearing the dynamic Rabbi Packer! Originally from Petersburg, Virginia, Ben Packer moved to Israel in 1999, where he served in the IDF’s Givati Brigade in the Gaza Strip.
